Iboga House is a traditional shamanic healing center which is also government licensed as a rehabilitation center for treating people with addiction problems with the Iboga root. The Iboga House is owned by Moughenda Mikala, 10th generation Shaman, from Gabon, Africa and his wife, Julia Malone, Iboga House Director, from Canada.
What makes Moughenda (Also known as Patrick) so special is that he is the only Bwiti Shaman in the Western World and he grows, sources and imports his own very potent Iboga from Gabon. The reason this is so important is, unless you speak French or an African dialect from the region of Gabon, there is absolutely no one else in the world who can offer you the same service and Iboga that Moughenda does.
He is also the only Bwiti Shaman in the Western World using Iboga to treat Addiction, Mental illness and Disease.
The next best treatment option for an addiction is an Ibogaine treatment in a specialized Clinic. The very important difference here is that while Ibogaine is a good detoxing medicine, it does not have the very beneficial physical and mental healing properties of all the other alkaloids and the plant fats that exist in full root. Ibogaine provides amazing psychological introspect but it can not provide a full spiritual journey and mental healing because it does not have the full natural properties and spirit (strength) of the plant because it has undergone 2-3 chemical extractions. Moughenda is not adverse to working with Ibogaine, especially in emergency detox situations but he is always sure to flush the body with a final Iboga treatment.
