Iboga House is a healing retreat that offers 6 main treatment/spiritual programs all which include the use of the Iboga root from Gabon, a traditional Bwiti Ceremony and counseling all guided by 10th generation Shaman, Moughenda. Also included is a private accommodation on our beautiful and spacious ranch and all your meals made from ingredients from local farms and markets. After your treatment is completed you will enjoy a relaxing and rehabilitating day at the spa which includes; a mud bath, volcanic hot springs and sauna, horseback riding, canopy tour and a day at the beach. Each medicinal or Shamanic treatment within each program is individualized to each person. Each person we receive is special and unique and therefore so is the treatment they will receive. Iboga Detoxification (Detox)

All of our programs have some level of Iboga detoxification. Some of our programs are just more concentrated on the detox due to the nature of the problem or the purity of a person’s body. A person will not be able to do a proper psycho spiritual journey if their body is very toxic. Weather you are addicted to something, experiencing chemical toxicity or unaware of your chemical toxicity levels. The first step to your health is to naturally and efficiently detoxify (detox) your body with Iboga. It doesn’t matter what type of detox you have done prior to arriving at the Iboga House, Iboga will still manage to find toxic matter in your body and especially in your bones. Our natural detox is quick and powerful. It takes place in 24 hours and we use the full root of the Iboga plant. Sometimes we combined it with the full (or total) alkaloid. Which is the first extract (organically extracted – no chemicals)from the Iboga root.

“I also use the full alkaloid for some types of healing and spiritual work. Iboga can take longer for the body to break down, whereas the full alkaloid is absorbed quickly and can be useful in some situations. On occasion I use the full alkaloid together with the Iboga, to accelerate the treatment. Program 1: Addiction   Detox with Psycho-Spiritual Therapy

This program is 9 days and it involves more than just a major rapid 24 hour Iboga detox. The detox begins in the first 24 hours from your arrival at the Iboga House. Iboga Detox is the first step to addiction recovery for someone who is struggling with addiction and emotional problems. Following your all natural Iboga Detox you will be clean and clear of all the drugs or alcohol that were in your system and therefore withdrawal free and ready for your one on one counselling with Moughenda which will help you to prepare for your Psycho Spiritual Journey. This is an integral part of breaking an addiction and part of the personal development therapy we offer with our Addiction Detox Program . “I always screen the client first, to determine the level of addiction. With drug addiction, the first thing I do is find out if the person is dealing only with drugs, or if they are also dealing with bad spirits.

I would estimate that seventy-five percent of people with a drug addiction are also having an issue with bad spirit possession. That is who is pushing them to get the drugs. If necessary, I extract the bad spirits first, and then send the person to treatment.

What Iboga does is free the person from withdrawal symptoms and completely free them from all craving. The Iboga takes the person back to the first time they started to use drugs [or another substance]. In that moment, they face themselves. They review that first day, and they confront themselves through knowing how and why they started using drugs. At that moment it is not somebody else telling them what to do. It is themselves facing themselves. It is a challenge. They will have visions, and they will be able to make a decision, whether to come back, or whether to use the drugs again. The Iboga also plays a big role in helping somebody make that decision. Once you get totally free, your mind is set to zero. When the mind is set to zero, you begin to think properly. That means that when you see the drugs again, you are able to choose clearly not to take that path again. You become a different person.

With Iboga there are three stages to the healing. I know what to do before the detox and afterward. It is not just physical, but mind, body and spirit combined. Program 2: Psycho-Spiritual Therapy

This treatment is for you if you are experiencing mental or emotional problem but are not struggling with addiction. The purpose of the Psycho-Spiritual is to heal your mind and set you free from all blocks that are holding you back on a psychological and spiritual level. Too often we attach ourselves to negative people, places, things, memories, or thoughts and therefore create negative emotions that effect our decision making ability and our ability to progress and evolve. A Psycho-Spiritual journey is a guided Iboga Journey with Moughenda Mickala . What that means is with the Iboga and the help of Moughenda you will be guided to revisit your past, present and even ask questions about your own future where you will be forced to face the truth about your life. Moughenda is not there as a “psychic” it is you who will see, hear and feel the truth for yourself. Moughenda is just there to share and use his skills on how to get you through into Spiritual world, guide you on how to get what you are there to retrieve, keep you safe when you get there and bring you back safe, too.

Every human has blind spots, distractions, some level of denial or ability to lie to themselves about their own life and the universe. “A psycho-spiritual journey is for someone who is caught up in past drama, or who has locked themselves on negative emotions. They want to totally clear their mind, and unlock themselves from drama and blocks. This type of journey can also be used to heal all mental problems at the spiritual level.

Iboga is the only tool that can really take a person back to the very beginning, when they started to have problems with drama, or blocks, or whatever it is. They have to face themselves. The spirit of Iboga goes everywhere in the body, into the brain, everywhere, shows you the truth about it, and puts you in the spot where you have to make a choice. At the same time the Iboga helps the person to make easily make correct decisions, based on the truth and not on how they feel. Because everything we feel is not necessarily the truth.  Everything we do in life is about choice. Iboga is not a magic bullet: “I will take Iboga today, and tomorrow everything will be gone.” No. Otherwise, it would be so easy. We are still human; we still have to do the work ourselves. What Iboga does is put you at the spot where it shows you everything about the road you have been on, and then it shows you a new road, where everything is so clear for you. When somebody does a Psycho-Spiritual journey and has a very good provider, Iboga is the best medicine for any psychological problem. The mind is like a computer hard drive. We wipe whatever problem somebody has off the hard drive. Every time we think about something, the brain stores it. Program 3: Dual Diagnosis   

This is at least an 18 day long program and it may be for you if you have a major psychiatric illness or you’ve suffered a psychotic break and you have a drug addiction or you are currently on antipsychotic medication. In over 95% of these cases a soul retrieval or a demon extraction is necessary. In all cases a detox and psycho-spiritual therapy are necessary. Part of the Psycho-Spiritual involves a physically healing for the mind.

“There are two components to mental health: a physical one and a spiritual one. Someone could have physical damage to the brain or they could be having mental health issues. When someone is having mental health issues this is not something on a physical level. It is nothing that can be touched, tasted, smelled, seen or heard. Detox and healing for viral infection

This is a 6 day program to detox you from a viral infection and heal your physical body that has suffered trauma due to its invasion.

The viral infections we treat are:

Program 5: Spiritual Journeys

If you are currently not having any emotional problems and you are not taking any kind of drugs or plants, you take extremely good care of your body and have no physical health issues. This six day Shamanic guided Spiritual journey program could be for you.

Program 6: Pre-Initiation Ceremony  

 Moughenda's Words...

“Pre-initiation is a path of self discovery, and a preparation for the full initiation.
I determine whether someone is ready for the pre-initiation based on the state of their mind. If they have a strong mind, without any drama or blocks, I push them straight through to the pre-initiation.

The first step is the self discovery. You will know and learn everything about yourself, who you are. You can also resolve any type of problem you have in this physical world, by stepping one foot into the spirit world. The spirit world is the one in command of the physical world. It is a way to resolve any situation, to find any answers you have been unable to find. It is a way of receiving guidance from the spirit world for the physical world. It is also a very good preparation for the full initiation. One goes through fifty to sixty percent of rebirth. One completes this rebirth in the full initiation.  Anyone wanting to do the full initiation should start by doing this standard Pre-Initiation.”- MOUGHENDA

A Pre-Initiation Ceremony is the most intense and exciting ceremony that happens at the Iboga House. It’s a prerequisite to the full initiation in Gabon. The full initiation is the ceremony of a lifetime, and a full welcoming into Moughenda’s Missoko Bwiti tribe. Every once in a while Moughenda invites Pre-initiates to join him in Gabon to complete their full initiation.
